Governance

Governance for the rereading Project operates on the principles that: In order to be successful at serving the interests of readers, writers, editors, publishers, and culture at large, the rereading project must be robust against poor decisions made by any individual member of the project. The project thus does not have any analogue to a director or “BDFL.”

Consent is an integral part of fair, equitable, and just leadership. As much as possible without compromising project goals or other project principles, the rereading project will adopt consensus methodologies to reflect this principle.
